Silent Auction and Encouragement

Hello folks,
I wanted to let you know about a great community event taking place Wednesday- May 23rd at the Palouse Grange. It is a silent auction to raise funds for new and safe playground equipment for the Palouse parks.
There are great items to bid on- including: an ipod, skis, original artwork, gift certificates, clothing, quilted items, baked goods for a year, floral arrangements, an old world Santa, and much, much more. There will be cookies and appetizers- to snack on as you place your bids. The preview begins at 4pm and the bidding at 5pm. Drop in and make a bid- it only takes a minute- and its for a great cause.
Its been a rough week on the Palouse- and we pray for Moscow- and for those grieving the loss of a loved one. Whether you can go to the silent auction or not, I believe that by supporting our community and loving our neighbors- we are doing our part to confront the evil powers in this world. Evil takes its toll- and it leaves deep scars- but evil does not, and will not win. And no evil act will stop us from loving our neighbors- our communities. God's Love will have the last word.
Peace, Pastor Corey

Update- Been A While

Apologies- to you faithful folks who check in here with the blog. There has been nothing to read since April.
We had a great Holy Week and Easter. Lots of people worshipping- always a good thing.
We celebrated the 50th anniversary of the dedication of our building this last Sunday- May the 6th. It was a good time of worship.
We had a youth planning meeting on Sunday Night- and got a lot of ideas- and some plans for the future.
I am looking for a person to help me do our "online" ministries. I would like to have a real website one day, and also have more updated blogs, as well as a myspace page. Let me know if you are interested in doing online ministry. I estimate 2 hours a week commitment- maybe less.
peace in Christ,
Corey
