Birthday party

My wife and church family surprised me by throwing a 30th birthday party at the church this Sunday- a party complete with good hot dogs. It was a blast. Thank you to all involved.
We also had our 2006 Annual Ministry and Business meeting, which was essentially a 20 minute or so meeting reviewing God's goodness and faithfulness to our ministry in 2006. God was very good to us in 2006. I thank all the disciples of PFC who volunteer and work hard to make our ministries go.
It was a fun year. If you need an annual report- contact me and let me know, I can mail you one.
Peace in 2007,
Pastor Corey

Heading into 2007

Well we are into 2007. In Palouse it has already been a year of severe weather. Coincidentally we are sponsoring a documentary movie night, tonight Monday- jan. 8th- of "An Inconvenient Truth." We were going to show it last Thursday but we postponed because there was a freak snow storm.
the Christmas season was a great time of celebration. We had more folks worship with us in December than in any month in recent memory. Of course there were five Sundays- and there were also two additional Christmas Eve worship services.
I appreciate everyone's efforts that made the services, Christmas program, ministry to Eastern State patients, outreach to needy families in Palouse- and all the other things we did in November and December. Without volunteer efforts and leadership we would get nothing done. So good job!
We had severe weather this Sunday- Dec. 7th- so the crowd was small- only 70. There was snow and ice and wind. I don't fault people for staying home, the driving conditions were fairly dangerous.
I am excited for this year- I have no idea exactly what's going to happen- but I can see that God is at work, God has placed many gifted people with wonderful convictions and ideas. There are plans in the works- some new stuff some same ol stuff. We'll keep you updated.
have a great year.
