Harvest Sunday was Awesome- Thanks God!

Thanks be to God! We had a wonderful time of worship and fellowship on Sunday November 6th. There were at least 75 folks in worship (well above our average- and none of them were Tina's or my out of town family), and we fed just about that many in the dinner afterwards. The Mayor of Palouse, Michael Echanove and myself, honored Don Myott for his service to our community- he was the winner of our first annual Harvest of Community Award.
The Diaconate did a great job of planning this event. Everyone brought excellent food- it was a good time had by all- in Jesus' name.
Cathy Blood brought family pictures to share after folks were done eating dinner. This is a new thing we are doing in fellowship times, to get to know each other. Tina will be bringing pictures next week and then somebody else the next week, and so on and so forth. It is important to get to know each other.
Bob West also had a great collection of Palouse historical pictures. This was interesting to me. Especially the pictures of some of the churches I hadn't seen before. He is a marvelous historian.
Peace,
Pastor Corey
